The absence of a single tooth can be resolved in different ways depending on the individual situation of the patient. In some cases, it can be done using prosthetic methods, while in others we recommend a dental implant.

Dental implants are titanium screws that are placed into the bone as a replacement for the root of one or more teeth. The approach is individualized based on the X-ray image and the number of remaining teeth. It is not necessary to grind the adjacent teeth; instead, we place the implant. We use Nobel Biocare implants. If good hygiene is maintained and regular X-ray monitoring is performed, implants can last a lifetime, and their placement helps prevent bone resorption.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia and is completely painless. If it is necessary to insert several implants, they are inserted simultaneously in one visit. After 3 to 4 months, the consolidation is checked and the ceramic bridge or crown is made.
